Our Support

As we travel to Italy to serve the Lord as church planting missionaries, we are only a small part of a large team.  We need supporters to pray for us, give financially, and encourage us.  Here are some ways that you can have a part in our ministry.  

And if you are already a part of our team - THANK YOU!  The ministry that the Lord does through us will add up to your "account".

Prayer Support

Our goal is to have, on average, 100 people praying for us each day.  We are currently only at about 82% prayer support.

Financial Support
(81.1%)

As we begin to prepare for our time of home ministry next summer, we are now at 81.1% of full support (full support now means full salary and our current housing costs in Domodossola - considerably less than housing in Milan).

While it would be nice to be fully supported, we can still comfortably get by on less than full support.  However, this leaves us no "cushion" for renewed weakening of the dollar or supporters who must discontinue our support. 

The good news is, that because of numerous one time gifts and some support increases, we are now slightly above where we need to be to "break even" for the rest of this term (ending October 2010).  Praise the Lord! 

Part of that support, is from one time gifts that we have pro-rated over the rest of this term.  We will need to replace that "advance" support on our next time of home ministry, as well as budgeting for some expected increases in our support that we will face as we enter our next term.  We will have specifics as our time of home ministry approaches.  But for the moment, we are actually "OK" on support.

One BIG prayer request in this area.  Changes that may result from proposed changes in the American health care system could result in a significant increase in our support.  We can not know for sure until a bill is actually passed, but do keep this matter in prayer as it could have a major impact on us and all other CrossWorld missionaries.

So, how can you help?  We're glad you asked!

If you would like to help with our financial support, it is possible to do so in three ways:

• Pledged support  This would be an amount that you pledge to send in monthly, quarterly or even annually.  You would begin sending in these amounts as soon as you make the pledge.  If you want to support us in this way, please let us know so that we can update our figures.  Although we are at a "break even" level, additional support will be needed for our next term.

• Advance support  For those who can not pledge or prefer to give one time gifts, It is possible to give a single gift towards our support for the current term (from now until October 2010), of the following term. If you would like to give this type of  support, please designate your gift as "advanced support" so we will know to use it in this way.

• Occasional gifts  Some people also send in occasional one time gifts.  These gifts can help with unexpected expenses or help us cover a shortfall in our pledged support.
